This pack of five Petron 16in aluminium crossbow bolts is a dependable, mid-length set for crossbows that need more than a short pistol bolt but not a full hunting-length shaft. The aluminium alloy shafts are light and uniform, so they group consistently once your crossbow is sighted in and hold up well to the repeated knocks of target practice. At 16 inches they bridge the gap between the compact 14in bolts and the longer 20in shafts, making them a sensible match for a good range of mid-sized recurve and compound crossbows. Each bolt is fitted with a nock at the rear and a removable tip at the front, so a bent or worn point can simply be unscrewed and swapped rather than the whole bolt being thrown away. Five to a pack gives you a tidy set for the range, with spares on hand for the shots that go astray.
