Excellent bit of kit

I previously had passive defenders but decided that I needed to upgrade. With the Caldwell I can hear the range instructions as well as conversations on the line. The shot report is a reduced to a dull "whoomp" .I can also hear the chink of my spent cartridges thrown into the bin on the stands. All in all a great buy.

works as it should. Very heavy to transport and awkward to carry when assembled.
I have purchased some thumb screws to replace the ones provided so I can remove the legs to fit into a bag to carry it, I also removed the pin in the but rest
and made one bigger so it can be easily remove and replaced.
I can now carry it in a small bag and re assemble it in a couple of minutes at the range. I could not recommend this to anybody in its present form unless they are prepared to disassemble it to take to the range.
