Animology Paw & Nose Balm is a soothing, 100% vegan moisturiser for a dog's nose and paw pads, blending sweet almond oil, jojoba wax, shea butter, oat oil and vitamin E. The formula is softer than a typical solid balm, so rather than a tin it comes in a 50ml tube that makes it easier to apply cleanly, without dirty fingers picking wax off the top. Massage a small amount onto the nose and pads to help condition skin that can dry out and toughen with regular wear, whether that's a day's walking, working a shoot, or simply pounding pavements in winter. Animology is a UK pet-care brand with over fifteen years behind its shampoos, sprays and grooming ranges, and this balm is made in the UK to the same standard. It's a straightforward bit of kit to keep in the dog bag alongside a towel and lead, handy after a day in the field or on any walk where paws and nose take a battering.
