Arctic Storm is the plain end of the waterproof range — rain coats, jackets and overtrousers bought to keep the weather out rather than to be looked at.
Which piece
- Long plain rain coat — the one for standing about: on a peg, at a feed round, on a gate watching a field. Length matters more than anything else when you are not moving.
- Waterproof jacket / windproof rain coat — shorter, better for walking and for working in.
- Waterproof overtrousers — these go on over what you are already wearing, so size them with that in mind rather than to your normal trouser measurement. Check the leg opening will clear your boots before you buy.
