The Ariat Groundbreaker 6" Lace Steel Toe Waterproof Work Boot is a lace-up safety boot built for a full day on site or on the farm. A waterproof full-grain leather upper (Waterproof Pro construction) keeps water out, while a steel toe cap, tested to withstand 200 joules of impact, protects against knocks from tools and machinery. The boot meets the EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC safety footwear standard, so it also carries a penetration-resistant sole and an antistatic, energy-absorbing heel. Ariat's Duratread outsole is oil- and slip-resisting, tested on ceramic tile with soap solution and on steel with glycerol for genuine grip in wet or greasy conditions, and it stays stable on surfaces up to 300°C. Underfoot, Ariat's 4LR technology cushions and supports the foot through a long shift. At 6 inches, the lace-up shaft gives a snug, adjustable fit that's easy to tighten over thick socks. Suited to farm, estate and general work use wherever certified toe protection is needed, rather than stalking or shooting.
