The Best Fittings Air Arms S475 is the hose-end fill adaptor for charging current 'T'-bar style Air Arms PCP airguns, including the S400, S410, S510 and S200 (also fitted to the MPR, HFT500 and Ultimate Sporter, which use the same current fill valve). Machined from brass, it is the female half of the connection: a rectangular slot cut into the top locates over the 'T' on the rifle's fill valve and is given a quarter-turn to hold the adaptor firmly in place while air is charged in, so there is no need to hold the connector by hand throughout the fill. The other end threads onto a standard 1/8" BSP fill hose, the fitting found on most charging bottles and hand pumps, so it drops straight into an existing PCP charging setup. It is a small, simple part, but the right one matters — an ill-fitting or worn adaptor is a common cause of a leaking or incomplete fill, and a spare is worth keeping in the range bag or gun cabinet for exactly that reason.
