The Bestard AT Quantic is an Advanced Trekking boot built for long days on demanding alpine ground, from multi-day treks across mixed terrain to moderate climbing, snowshoe ascents, glacier crossings and via ferratas. The upper combines water-repellent Perwanger leather with Kevlar reinforcement and a natural rubber toe cap, giving real resistance to knocks and abrasion without adding unnecessary weight. A Gore-Tex Performance Comfort lining keeps feet dry in wet hill conditions while still breathing on the climb. The shaft sits a little lower than a full mountaineering boot, using elastic materials and a flex zone at the ankle so the boot moves with you rather than against you, while a soft, minimalist tongue and gusset improve fit and comfort. Underfoot, a semi-rigid Bestflex 6+P midsole and Vibram Curcuma outsole with Quantic Tech technology deliver a stable, neutral footfall and strong shock absorption on rough ground, and the sole is built to take semi-automatic crampons for early-season stalking or hill days that turn icy. At 1,440g a pair (UK 8), it is light enough for a full day on the hill.
