The Desert Adventure is Bestard's lightweight boot for hot, dry and dusty conditions — built originally for security, police and military patrol work, and just as suited to hunting or travelling in hot climates where a heavy leather boot is the wrong tool. Made in Spain, the upper combines water-repellent Cordura with split suede leather, keeping weight down while resisting abrasion from sand and scrub. A GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining is fully waterproof and breathable, so the boot stays comfortable as temperatures swing through the day. The wide Europa XW last gives a roomier fit than Bestard's mountain boots, useful over a warm-weather sock, and the Vibram Cube Pro outsole with PU underfoot delivers shock absorption and secure traction across loose or uneven ground. Water-repellent laces and stitching finish the boot off. At 1,498g a pair (UK 8) it's noticeably lighter than Bestard's mountain boots, which is the point — this is a boot for covering ground quickly in heat, not for a winter hill day.
