The Bestard Gobi is a lightweight, breathable hiking shoe built for warm-weather walking and travel rather than technical mountain use. A softer, non-waterproof take on Bestard's popular Rando II, the upper is made entirely from water-resistant Cordura® with an extended lacing system that runs low down the foot for a snug, adjustable fit. An air-mesh lining keeps the shoe cool and quick-drying underfoot. Bestard's Trail Tech 40 last shapes a comfortable, low-profile fit, sitting on a flexible Bestflex 2 midsole and a Vibram® Impulse rubber outsole that grips well on trail and pavement alike while cushioning each step. At around 850g a pair (EU size 42), it's noticeably light for all-day wear. Handmade by Bestard in Mallorca, the Gobi suits everyday walking, travel and non-technical outdoor use through spring and summer, when a full waterproof boot is more than you need. It runs from EU 36 to 47, covering the full adult size range.
