The Bestard Speedwave is a low-cut multipurpose walking shoe that suits rough tracks as easily as everyday use. The upper is a water-repellent air-mesh with a TPU toe cap for protection against roots and stones, lined with Gore-Tex Extended Comfort for a waterproof, breathable fit. It runs on Bestard's X10 last with a flexible Bestflex 2 midsole and a Vibram Bayu outsole, giving a comfortable, well-cushioned stride with good shock absorption over long distances. At roughly 830g a pair (EU 42), it is noticeably lighter than a traditional leather boot, which suits hiking, Nordic walking, speed-hiking and day-to-day wear on ground where a full boot is more support than the terrain demands.
