The Bisley Bead Sight No.10 is a replacement screw-in bead for a shotgun rib, supplied as a pack of five with a 3mm thread. The bead sits in the rib and gives the shooter a clean, consistent pointing reference at the muzzle, whether on driven days, walked-up shooting or over decoys. Over time a small rib bead can work loose, get knocked off in the field or simply go missing, and keeping spares to hand means a lost bead need never put a gun out of action. The No.10 refers to Bisley's own size and pattern within their numbered bead range, each profile cut to match the bead originally fitted to a particular make of gun, so it pays to match both the number and the thread to the bead you are replacing. The 3mm thread is one of the common metric sizes used on rib-bead holes, but older or second-hand guns are sometimes re-tapped, so it is worth checking your existing thread before fitting.
