These Bisley sling swivels are the fixed mounting hardware for fitting a sling to a rifle or air rifle, supplied as a stock-and-barrel set. You get one wood-screw swivel that threads into the butt stock and one 13.5mm barrel band that clamps around the barrel, giving you a front and rear attachment point for a standard 25mm (1in) wide sling. The 13.5mm size refers to the barrel-band diameter, suited to smaller-diameter barrels and the under-levers found on many spring and gas-ram air rifles. Each swivel uses an 18mm (3/4in) long wood-mounting thread with a built-in washer, and the swivels are made from steel with a black finish for durability in the field. Fitting is straightforward: drill a pilot hole before driving the stock screw to stop the wood splitting, and the barrel band can be packed out with a thin shim for a snug fit that protects the barrel finish. A simple, solid way to carry an air rifle or rimfire over the shoulder out in the field.
