Bisley's Long Range Gold is a medium-weight, domed (roundhead) lead pellet in .177 (4.5mm), supplied in a tin of 500 and made for Bisley by H&N. The rounded head and clean aerodynamic form give a flat trajectory at medium ranges, so it holds elevation well out to longer distances than lighter pellets manage. At 7.56 grains it sits in the sweet spot for sub-12 ft/lb air rifles, carrying enough mass for solid downrange energy while still grouping tightly. A special alloy and applied lubrication keep lead fouling low and shot-to-shot consistency high, which is what you want when you are chasing the tightest groups on a target card or taking measured shots on quarry. It suits field target competition and general target practice equally, and the predictable trajectory makes it a sensible choice for hunting and pest control where shot placement matters.
