This Bisley ventilated recoil pad is a slim, rifle-profile butt pad that adds length and comfort to a rifle stock while taking the sting out of felt recoil. Moulded in tough rubber, the pad measures 18mm thick, so it extends length of pull by a useful amount without bulking out the butt, and the ventilated honeycomb construction soaks up the rearward shove of each shot to keep your shoulder fresh through a long session at the range or out stalking. It fits to the rear of the stock and can be attached with the supplied screws or bonded with adhesive, and the rubber can be trimmed and shaped on a sander or file to follow the exact profile of your butt for a clean, flush finish. The grippy face also helps the gun stay put in the shoulder pocket between shots. A straightforward, hard-wearing upgrade for anyone wanting a touch more reach and a softer recoil impulse from a rifle, rimfire or air rifle stock.
