Britannia Rails' 30mm QD Picatinny Rings in medium height are a British-made quick-detach mount for scopes with a 30mm tube, designed to fit securely onto a Picatinny or Weaver rail. A rotating lever locks and unlocks each ring without tools, so a scope can be lifted off and put straight back on while holding zero, which suits anyone who swaps a day scope for a thermal or night vision unit between outings or moves optics across more than one rifle. The rings are machined from aluminium and hard-anodised for a durable, weather-resistant matte finish. Each pair is supplied with its fixing screws, removable QD levers, a plastic storage case and a Torx bit, so nothing extra is needed to fit them. Britannia Rails specify a ring-screw torque of 2Nm and finger-tight for the QD lever, worth following to get consistent return-to-zero. Note that one pair of medium-height mounts is supplied per set; other heights are available separately for different scope and rail combinations.
