Britannia Rails' Gunmakers Extended Length Picatinny Rail is a blank, un-drilled length of true mil-spec Picatinny rail, supplied specifically for gunsmiths and gunmakers to fit rifles that have no off-the-shelf mounting solution. Rather than a bolt-on universal rail, it comes as raw stock — 189mm long and 13mm high, CNC-machined in the UK from aircraft-grade aluminium and finished in hard-anodised black for durability — ready for your gunsmith to drill and fit to the exact dimensions of your action. This flat-bottomed version is intended for rifles with a flat receiver top, giving a stable, full-length contact surface once fitted. Once drilled and mounted it accepts any standard Picatinny rings, bases or night-vision and thermal add-ons, so it's a practical route to proper scope mounting on older, imported or unusual actions that the major mount manufacturers don't cater for.
