The Britannia Rails Ruger M77 Long Action rail is a UK-made Picatinny base built for the M77's long-action receiver, replacing the factory dovetail with a full-spec MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny top rail. CNC-machined from T6 aircraft-grade aluminium and finished in hard-anodised black, it's noticeably longer than the short-action version to suit the M77 long-action footprint, and it's mounted at 0 MOA for a flat, level platform rather than a forward-canted long-range rail. Because it's true Picatinny spec rather than the M77's own dovetail, it opens up the full range of Picatinny scope mounts, red dots, night-vision and thermal add-ons that the factory rail can't take. It's sized specifically to the M77 long-action receiver footprint, so it seats correctly without packing or filing. It screws directly to the top of the action using the supplied screws and hex key, with Vibra-Tite thread-lock included to stop the fixings working loose under recoil. Follow the rifle manufacturer's recommended torque setting rather than over-tightening. No gunsmithing is needed; it's a straight swap for the factory rail.
