Britannia Rails' Extended Picatinny rail for the Tikka T3 is designed and manufactured in Great Britain, machined to a true mil-spec Picatinny profile (MIL-STD-1913) from aircraft-grade aluminium for a firm, no-play lock onto the rifle's action. The Tikka T3's action-top hole spacing lets Britannia build this rail reversible, so it can be fitted either forward-biased or rear-biased on the action — one rail, two mounting positions, useful when you need extra rail room ahead of the action for a night-vision or thermal add-on and a longer scope, or prefer the extra length sitting further back. The extended length is the point: more usable rail than a standard-length T3 rail, so there's room to run a day scope alongside a clip-on night-vision or thermal unit, or simply more scope-slide travel to dial in eye relief on a long-bodied optic. Genuine Picatinny dimensions mean it takes standard Picatinny rings, mounts and add-on devices with no adapter needed, and it's supplied with the fitting screws and anti-vibration thread lock.
