The Buff CoolNet UV Insect Shield Neckwear in Tundra Khaki is a lightweight, seamless tube of fabric that pulls on as a neck gaiter, snood or headband, built for anyone spending long hours outdoors in insect country. It is made from recycled plastic bottles, spun into a breathable microfibre that dries quickly and stays comfortable against the skin, while delivering UPF 50 sun protection to guard the neck and lower face from UV exposure. The fabric is also treated with Insect Shield technology, an EPA-registered repellent that is bonded into the fibres rather than applied on top, so it keeps biting insects such as mosquitoes at bay and remains effective through repeated washing.
