This twin pack bundles two 300ml bottles of Nikwax TX.Direct Spray-On, the reproofer for breathable waterproof jackets, trousers and gloves that have started to wet out. TX.Direct Spray-On restores the durable water repellent (DWR) finish on the outer fabric so rain beads off rather than soaking in — important, because a wetted-out shell loses breathability and leaves you clammy underneath even when it's technically still waterproof. Applied by hand from a trigger spray rather than an aerosol can, it lets you target the areas that take the most wear, such as shoulders, elbows and seams, and it's specifically formulated so it won't compromise the wicking liners fitted to many modern waterproofs. Spray evenly onto a clean, damp garment — always wash first with Nikwax Tech Wash, never a standard detergent — leave for five minutes, then wipe off any excess. No tumble drying is needed for the DWR to develop, which is kinder to older or more delicate fabrics. Suitable for Gore-Tex, Sympatex, eVent, Nikwax Analogy and other waterproof-breathable fabrics. It's water-based, PFC-free and non-flammable. Two bottles cover repeat treatments through a full season of stalking and shooting in the wet.
