The Cub is an adjustable aluminium extension designed exclusively for use with BushWear's own Panther highseat (sold separately). It slides directly over the Panther's existing ladder and locks into place via spring-loaded bolts that engage the ladder rungs, so there are no loose pins or fiddly fixings to lose in the dark. Three rung positions let you add height in 33 cm increments, giving a maximum gain of around one metre and putting you firmly above the browse line without committing to a fixed-height seat. At 3.5 kg the Cub is light enough to carry in alongside the Panther — the combined weight of the two units is just 16 kg — making the set-up practical for a day's deer stalking where you need to move between rides. It is made from lightweight aluminium throughout, keeping weight down without sacrificing the rigidity you need at height.
