The Walther LG400-M Monotec is a .177 calibre precharged pneumatic (PCP) target air rifle built for 10m ISSF-discipline shooting, fitted with Walther's mechanical two-stage trigger. What sets the Monotec apart from the LG400 Anatomic and Competition models is its stock construction: rather than mounting the action on the receiver in the usual way, Walther fixes it directly to the barrel via a dedicated monotec suspension block. This keeps firing vibrations out of the barrel, where they would otherwise disturb shot consistency, and lets the action be removed and refitted without disturbing the rifle's zero — useful for anyone tuning pellet selection or packing the rifle down for transport, since it can be sighted in while still clamped in the block. The stock itself carries over the adjustability of Walther's KK500, with an infinitely adjustable cast, raised butt stock, new aluminium butt plate and the BIOMETRIC 3D grip in size M. Power comes from a steel air cylinder with a pressure gauge, filled to 300 or 200 bar, giving around 600 shots at up to 7.5 Joules through a carbon barrel jacket. Sighting is via the INSIGHT-OUT competition sight and Centra foresight; a trigger guard is not included and should be ordered separately.
