The Frankford Arsenal Hinge-Top Ammo Box #1003 is a rigid polymer storage box that holds 100 rounds of .38 Special or .357 Magnum ammunition, each cartridge sitting upright in its own slot so you can count what's left at a glance. Frankford Arsenal mould the box from high-density polymer and fit a true mechanical hinge rather than a flimsy living-hinge strip, so the lid opens flat for easy loading at the bench and resists snapping in cold weather — a real consideration on a frosty range morning. The same box also takes .38 Super, .38 S&W, the .32 S&W family, .32 H&R Magnum and the older .25-20 and .32-20 WCF cartridges, which makes it a sensible pick for gallery-rifle shooters running .38/.357 lever-action carbines. Square-sided with a flat lid, the boxes stack securely on a shelf or in your ammunition cabinet, and the lid accepts a standard 1in x 2-5/8in printer label so you can mark up handload data or sort factory ammunition by batch.
