Waxed and oiled leather boots and gear need regular feeding to stay supple and waterproof, and Hoggs of Fife's Waxed Leather Balm is formulated to do exactly that. Worked into the leather with a cloth, it restores the oils and waxes that dry out over time with wear and exposure to the weather, nourishing the leather back towards its original condition. Regular use freshens the appearance of tired, dull leather, helps prevent it from drying out and cracking, and enhances the leather's natural water resistance — useful for anything from work boots to leather straps and bags that see hard outdoor use. Best applied in small circular motions with a clean cloth, then buffed with a soft cloth for a smooth finish. It's suitable for leather of any colour, though as with most conditioning balms it will darken the leather slightly as it feeds it, so it's worth testing on a small unobtrusive area first. Supplied in a neutral 100ml tin, it's a simple, effective way to keep waxed and oiled leather performing and looking its best for longer.
