These Hornady 25 Cal .257in 75-grain V-MAX bullets are component projectiles for handloaders, not loaded ammunition, supplied 100 to the box for reloading your own .25-calibre rounds. The V-MAX is Hornady's specialist varmint bullet, built around a sharp polymer tip seated over a hollow cavity that drives back into a swaged lead core on impact, giving the rapid expansion and dramatic fragmentation that makes it such a clean performer on foxes and smaller quarry. The match-grade AMP jacket is drawn for concentricity, which keeps groups tight at range, while the streamlined profile and G1 ballistic coefficient of .290 deliver the flat trajectories you want when reaching out across open ground.
