This is a genuine Howa 10-round detachable spare magazine for short-action rifles chambered in .308 Winchester, .243 Winchester or 7mm-08 Remington. Made from tough, glass-filled black polymer, it is built to the same specification as the magazine supplied with the rifle, and the extra capacity makes it a useful upgrade for range work, load development and high-volume vermin days as well as a straightforward spare for the hill. It fits the Howa 1500 short action fitted with a detachable magazine floorplate, and is also compatible with other short actions built on the same pattern, including the Weatherby Vanguard and Smith & Wesson M1500. Feeding is smooth and consistent thanks to the polymer follower and firm-locking latch, and the magazine drops free cleanly for quick changes. Always check magazine fitment against your specific rifle and action length before ordering.
