The Hunter Safety Tornado is an 8-inch waterproof safety boot from Hunter's safety-footwear range, built for demanding work on the estate, farm or shoot. It meets EN ISO 20345:2022 to S7S FO LG HRO SR, combining a steel toe cap rated to 200 joules of impact protection with a separate, non-metallic anti-penetration midsole that guards against underfoot punctures. The upper is water-resistant full-grain leather backed by an internal waterproof membrane, so the boot stays dry through wet ground and standing water without the bulk of a wellington. Underfoot, the deep-cleated rubber outsole is tested to the Ladder Grip (LG) standard for secure footing on rungs and uneven ground, and it's rated heat-resistant to 300 degrees and oil-resistant for kennel, larder and workshop conditions. A deep padded PU and mesh collar, removable cushioned PU footbed with arch support, and an injected PU midsole for shock absorption make it comfortable to wear through a full working day. Whether it's keepering rounds, larder work, loading pens or general estate and trade duties, the Tornado is built to take the knocks a working boot needs to withstand while keeping feet protected and dry.
