The Morakniv Erik Frost 163 is a double-edged hook knife for hollowing bowls, spoons and kuksas, built to the classic Frosts Knivfabrik pattern from Sweden. Its curved stainless steel blade is sharpened on both sides, so it cuts on the pull and the push stroke, and the 163's more open curve suits work with a larger radius than a tighter hook knife would manage — useful for finishing cuts inside bigger bowls and spoon bowls. Improved edge bevels complete the blade, giving a clean, controlled cut without extra stropping. The handle is oiled birch with a natural finish, shaped for a secure grip through repeated carving strokes, and the knife comes with a simple vegetable-tanned leather edge guard to protect both blade and carver between cuts. Blade length is 74mm at 2.0mm thick, the knife measures 183mm overall and weighs 70g. A straightforward, purpose-made tool for green woodworking, spoon carving or bushcraft.
