The Pixfra Draco D225-4K is a multispectral handheld binocular that brings thermal imaging, digital night vision and 4K day optics together in one device, suited to stalking, pest control and general field observation. A 256x192 thermal sensor with better than 18mK NETD sensitivity picks out heat signatures at distances of up to 1,300m, even in fog or heavy rain, while a separate 4K CMOS sensor delivers detailed digital night vision and full-colour daytime viewing through the same 0.49in, 1920x1080 OLED display. An automatic day/night mode switches between channels as light levels change, so there is no need to swap modes manually at dawn or dusk. A built-in laser rangefinder gives accurate distance readings out to 1,000m, and a detachable 850nm/940nm IR illuminator extends reach in the darkest conditions. Powered by two 18650 batteries, with four supplied, for up to nine hours of runtime, the Draco sits in a compact magnesium-alloy housing with a multi-function control wheel, silent buttons and a chest-style carrying case.
