The Pixfra Mile 3 M335 is the long-range model in the Mile 3 series, a handheld thermal imaging monocular for deer stalking, foxing and night-time pest control. It shares the 384×288, 12µm sensor and ≤15mK NETD thermal sensitivity of the M325 but pairs it with a longer 35mm F0.9 objective, taking detection range out to 1,800m — the furthest in the range and the reason to choose it over its shorter-lensed sibling if you are working open hill or large arable blocks.
The trade is field of view: 13.6 × 10.3m at 100m against the M325's 19.3 × 14.3m, with 2.5x base magnification and 1x-8x digital zoom. Close focus is 2m. The 1920×1080, 0.49in OLED display carries six colour palettes, hot spot tracking, picture-in-picture and a compass, and the three-in-one control wheel handles focus, zoom and the menu from one thumb so the monocular can be worked single-handed.
PIPS 3.0 Pro image processing sharpens fine detail and holds detector response in cold conditions. Video with audio records to 64GB of built-in storage and the free Pixfra app gives remote control over Wi-Fi. The magnesium alloy body is IP67 rated and works from -30°C to +55°C at 310g, with a quick-change 18650 lithium battery giving around 5.5 hours at 25°C with Wi-Fi off.
