The Pixfra Arc A425 is a handheld thermal imaging monocular built for spotting game and pests after dark, whether you're deer stalking, foxing or carrying out pest control on land you manage. At its core is a 384x288, 12µm vanadium oxide sensor paired with a fast 25mm f1.0 lens, giving a detection range of up to 1300m and a close focus distance of 2m. The image shows on a bright 1440x1080 OLED display, with 2.76x optical magnification and 1x-8x digital zoom, six colour palettes and auto or manual uniformity correction to suit the conditions. Power comes from two swappable rechargeable batteries, each good for 7.5 hours, giving up to 15 hours in the field between charges via USB-C. The magnesium alloy body is IP67 rated against rain and dust and keeps working from -30°C to +50°C, while weighing under 350g so it's comfortable to carry all day. Built-in Wi-Fi lets you stream the view to up to four smart devices through the free Pixfra app, and 32GB of onboard storage records both video and audio of what you've spotted.
