The Pulsar APS Battery Charger is the dedicated dual-bay charger for the APS2 and APS3 rechargeable battery packs that power Pulsar thermal and digital optics, including the Axion and Thermion ranges. It takes two packs at once, so you can keep a spare topped up while the other charges, ready for an evening's foxing or a long sit waiting on deer. The packs lock positively into the cradle, holding contact throughout the charge, and an LED shows progress and signals when each pack is full. Power comes over USB, letting you run it from a mains adapter, a vehicle USB socket or a power bank in the field, which is useful when you are away from the house for several days. As a standalone charger it is also a sensible backup if the in-unit charging on your optic stops working, keeping your batteries in rotation rather than tying up the device. Note that this charger is for APS2 and APS3 packs and is not compatible with the larger APS5 batteries used by Axion XQ units.

Stopped working after two charges

Very expensive charger for what it is.
Doubly so when it packed up after just two uses, leaving me to charge battery pack through the USB port on the Thermal Imager.
Would not buy again if I didn't have to run multiple batteries and it's time Pulsar dropped proprietary batteries and moved with the market to 18650s.
