The Pulsar APS2 is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack that powers compatible Pulsar thermal and digital optics, giving you a spare cell to swap in the field rather than cutting an outing short. It carries a rated capacity of 2000 mAh and a 3.7V charging voltage, enough to run a Thermion riflescope for up to around five hours on a single charge, so a couple of packs in your pocket will see most stalkers through a long sit or an extended foxing session after dark. The flat, lightweight cell drops straight into the optic's APS battery slot and can be topped up either in the unit over a microUSB connection or in a separate APS charging dock, and an on-pack charge indicator lets you check the state of each battery at a glance before you head out. The plastic housing keeps things light at the muzzle end, and the compact 59 x 24 x 24mm form factor makes the APS2 easy to carry as a backup.
