The Pulsar APS3 is a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack that powers a wide range of Pulsar thermal and digital optics, making it a sensible spare to carry on longer outings after dark. Compact and quick to swap in the field, it lets you keep glassing without waiting around to recharge a flat unit. The flat-format cell drops straight into the battery slot and can be topped up either inside the device over USB or on a separate APS charging station, so you can rotate packs between sessions. It is compatible with the Thermion, Thermion 2 and Thermion Duo riflescopes, the Digex digital scopes, the Merger LRF binoculars and the Axion Compact monocular. With a 3200mAh capacity and 3.6V output, the APS3 delivers a useful run of operating time from a single charge. At 74 x 24 x 24mm and just 6g, it adds almost nothing to your kit, so keeping one or two charged spares in a pocket is an easy way to avoid cutting an evening's stalking short.
