The Pulsar Core FXQ50 is a thermal imaging front attachment that clips to the objective end of your existing daytime riflescope, converting it into a capable thermal sighting system without replacing your zeroed optic. At the heart of it is a 384x288 17µm uncooled microbolometer running at 50Hz, projecting onto a high-resolution 640x480 AMOLED display — a display technology chosen for its contrast and black-level performance in dark conditions. The 4.1x base magnification (with 2x digital zoom available) gives a 13.1m field of view at 100m, and detection range extends to 1800m on a standing deer-sized target. Fitting is via bayonet-type cover ring adaptors in 40, 42, 50 and 56mm diameters, so it suits most popular riflescope objectives. Power comes from two CR123A batteries giving up to 4 hours of use, or an external supply for longer sessions. Rated IPX7 as a monocular and IPX5 as an attachment, it deals with rain and mist without issue. Weighing just 400g without batteries and measuring 190x65x60mm, it adds minimal bulk to your existing setup. A wireless remote allows discreet adjustments without disturbing your position.
