The Pulsar Ultra-X940 is an invisible 940nm infrared illuminator that clips onto the dedicated IR socket of the Digisight Ultra digital night-vision riflescopes and the Forward F455 front attachment, drawing its power straight from the host unit so there is no separate battery to manage. Because it works at 940nm, the beam stays outside the range the human eye and quarry can see, making it well suited to covert deer and predator control after dark where a visible torch would give your position away. A LED emitter feeds a 32mm objective, and you can vary the beam from a tight spot for reaching out across a field to a broad flood for closer woodland work, then nudge the position of the IR spot so the brightest light sits exactly where you are looking in the field of view. Three power settings let you match output to the conditions, lifting detection and identification range on darker nights and easing off when you need less. The body is moulded from durable plastic and carries an IPX7 waterproof rating, so it shrugs off rain and damp on the high seat.
