The Pulsar AL-915 is a laser infrared illuminator built to extend the working range of digital night vision on the foreshore, in the high seat or out lamping foxes. Operating at a 915nm wavelength, it works in the invisible part of the spectrum, so it throws no visible glow and keeps your approach covert while you pick out a quarry that the device alone cannot reach. The 22mm laser delivers a clean, even pool of IR across the whole field of view, and you can twist the lens holder to take the beam from a tight spot for distant identification to a wide flood for closer scanning. A separate power control lets you wind the output up or down to suit the conditions, so you are not washing out the picture on a still, dark night. It fixes to a side Weaver rail on Pulsar Digisight scopes and Digiforce monoculars, and the supplied 1/4-inch adapter lets you mount it on other night vision units or use it in the hand. It is rated Class 1 to IEC60825-1 and runs on two AA cells.
