A Compact Thermal Powerhouse
The Alaris XG30 from Pulsar Wildlife introduces a compact and lightweight powerhouse to our range of high-performance thermal imaging monoculars. With a highly sensitive 640 × 480, 12 µm, < 40 mK NETD European-made Lynred thermal sensor and a powerful 30 mm f/1.2 germanium objective lens, this device may be small enough to fit in your pocket, but its size is no indication of its capabilities — offering an impressive detection range of up to 1300 m in day- or night-time conditions.
Wide Field of View
Designed to reveal even more, the Alaris XG30 features a 25.6 m @ 100 m (14.6°) field of view, opening up your observation area and enabling more comfortable searching and scanning of large areas. With this wider field of view, its high-performance thermal sensor, and powerful objective lens, this thermal imaging monocular will detect a heat source at impressive distances, revealing in stunning, crystal-clear detail, an observed animal’s important anatomical features.
Extended Observation
With up to 7 hours of battery life provided by a removable, rechargeable Pulsar APS3 battery, the Alaris XG30 provides longer periods of observation, allowing you to keep going through the day and into the night. Because the APS3 is removable, you can even replace it with a spare in the field to extend your observations even further.
IPX7 Rated
Its robust magnesium alloy bodyshell provides ample protection against everyday bumps, knocks, and scrapes; keeps the device protected from dust- and moisture ingress; allows the monocular to be used in adverse weather conditions, including dense fog, heavy rain, and snow; and even keeps the device running unaffected after being immersed in water. A stylish new rubberised strip along the bottom of the device ensures better grip in both wet and dry conditions — providing even more security when using the device in the field.
8 Colour Palettes
As with all current Pulsar Wildlife devices, the Alaris XG30 features eight colour palettes designed to enhance your thermal observation experience, allowing you to observe your field of view more effectively by optimising the monocular for specific tasks and reacting to changing observation conditions.
White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection.
Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition and identification.
Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are most suitable for long observation at night.
Built-in Video Recorder
Built-in video recording (with audio) and still image capture ensures you’ll never miss your favourite moments during observation. Videos and images captured on the device are stored on the generous internal memory and can even be stored on the cloud via the Pulsar Wildlife Wild Vision app, so you can access your favourite clips and images on the go.
Wild Vision App
Connect the Alaris XG30 to the new Wild Vision app from Pulsar Wildlife via an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet and discover a wide range of connectivity features, including:
The ability to use your mobile phone or tablet as a wireless remote to control and adjust the device’s settings, with all the changes made on your device’s screen visible in real time. This feature also allows for remote recording of footage or capturing of still images.
A gallery of photos and videos captured on the device that can be browsed through and downloaded. These videos and images can also be shared easily.
The ability to remotely update the device’s firmware, meaning users can enjoy all the latest features and ensure the Alaris XG30 is always running to the best of its ability.
