The Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XG35 is a pocket-sized handheld thermal imaging monocular built for spotting and counting deer, foxes and other quarry in any light. Its 640x480, 12-micron uncooled sensor reads heat signatures with an NETD below 40 mK, so warm bodies stand out cleanly against cold ground, fence lines and woodland. The fast F35/1.0 objective and 2.5-20x magnification (with x8 zoom) give a wide field of view for scanning ground and the reach to study a beast at distance, with a detection range of up to 1750 m. A built-in 905 nm laser rangefinder reads out to 1000 m with an accuracy of plus or minus 1 m, so you can judge the range to a stag before deciding whether to move in. The crisp AMOLED HD 1024x768 display, eight colour palettes and built-in photo and video recorder make it easy to review and share what you have seen. A magnesium-alloy body, IPX7 waterproofing and the removable APS5 battery (up to 7 hours per charge) keep it working hard through a long stalk.
