The Pulsar Digex X940 is an external infrared illuminator built specifically for Pulsar Digex digital night-vision riflescopes. Its 940 nm LED emitter operates at a wavelength invisible to the naked eye, meaning deer, fox and other quarry cannot detect the beam — a real advantage over shorter-wavelength illuminators. Output is continuously variable up to 250 mW, and the IR spot position is adjustable to suit the range and conditions. Mounting is via a quick-release 30 mm ring that matches the Digex scope body, making fitment and removal quick in the field without tools. The illuminator runs from a Pulsar APS2 Li-Ion battery pack (2,000 mAh, sold separately) and will run for up to seven hours at room temperature on a full charge. The housing is built to withstand recoil up to 6,000 joules on rifled weapons and 12-bore on smooth-bore rifles. Compatible with both current and previous-generation Pulsar Digex riflescopes.
