The Pulsar Ultra-X850A is an interchangeable infrared illuminator designed to work with Pulsar's digital night-vision riflescopes and front attachments, specifically the Digisight Ultra N455, Digisight Ultra LRF N455, and Forward F455. It operates at 850 nm — the wavelength at which digital NV sensors are most sensitive — making it well suited to extending your effective range after dark when foxing, lamping, or out on the hill. The illuminator attaches in seconds via a bayonet mount and draws its power directly from the host device through a contact group, so there is no separate battery to manage. Three power steps let you balance illumination intensity against range and battery drain, and the beam position can be adjusted horizontally and vertically in the field of view without tools — useful when zeroing or moving between different shooting positions. Built to IPX7 standard, it handles rain and heavy dew without issue, and the operating range of -25 °C to +50 °C covers anything a British winter can produce. Dimensions are 108 × 45 × 54 mm and weight is 0.142 kg.
