The Pulsar PSP-42 Ring Adaptor is designed to mount a Krypton or Proton thermal imaging front attachment to a daytime riflescope with an objective lens diameter of 40–42 mm. It fixes to the scope's objective housing using a retainer clip that takes only seconds to open or close, letting you switch between day and thermal in the field without losing your place or fumbling with tools. Once the adaptor is secured, a precise screen-positioning mechanism allows you to dial in perfect alignment of the thermal image within the field of view of your day optic — a small but critical adjustment that makes the thermal picture sit squarely in the eyepiece rather than drifting to one side. The adaptor body is milled from aluminium alloy for a combination of rigidity and low added weight, with steel screws, retaining clip and pins. A set of insert rings is supplied so the adaptor seats cleanly on objective housings of varying outer diameters. Whether you run a Krypton or a Proton, this is the correct mounting solution for 40–42 mm objective scopes.
