The Sitka CORE Lightweight Bottom in GORE OPTIFADE Subalpine is a next-to-skin base layer built for the CORE Lightweight system, the layering foundation for hunts through mixed light and vegetation around the treeline. Cut from a quick-dry, 100% polyester Comfort Stretch Knit, it moves moisture away from the skin and dries fast as temperatures swing through the day. A gusseted no-bunch crotch and low-profile elastic waistband keep the fit close and comfortable under stalking trousers or heavier insulating layers, without bulk or chafing. Permanent Polygiene Odor Control technology is bonded into the fabric to stop the growth of odour-causing bacteria and fungi, helping keep scent down on long days in the field. The Subalpine pattern is designed to break up the leg's outline against timber, scrub and broken ground, making it a natural match for hunters working subalpine terrain rather than open plains. Lightweight enough for warm-weather use on its own, it also layers cleanly beneath mid and outer layers as conditions cool, making it a year-round foundation piece for stalking and hill work.
