The Sitka Heavyweight Zip-T is a fleece midlayer built for static hunts and long watches in cold, cutting conditions — high seats, hides and hours spent sitting still where staying warm without bulk matters most. Made from Heavyweight Comfort Stretch Fleece, a blend of 93% polyester and 7% elastane, its lofted fleece backer retains warmth while actively moving moisture away from the skin, so it stays comfortable through long periods of low activity. A high zippered neck lets you fine-tune your own microclimate, opening up when you're moving and closing off against the cold when you're not. Permanent Polygiene Odor Control Technology is built into the fabric for the life of the garment, neutralising odour by stopping the growth of the bacteria and fungi that cause it — a real advantage when you need to stay downwind of game. Weighing around 356g in a size Large, it layers easily under a shell jacket without adding bulk. This version carries Sitka's GORE OPTIFADE Elevated II concealment pattern, developed for hunters working from height such as a tree stand or high seat — the same elevated vantage point used in UK deer stalking.
