The Spartan Classic Gunsmith Adapter in brass is the same discreet, permanent bipod/tripod fitting as the standard aluminium version, bonded into the fore-end of a wooden or synthetic stock so only a low-profile magnetic socket sits flush with the wood. Once fitted it uses the same MagnaSwitch magnetic quick-detach system as the rest of the Spartan range, letting a bipod or tripod snap on and off in seconds. The brass version weighs 23g against the standard adapter's 9g — heavier because of the material, but still a modest addition to the rifle — and shares the same 17mm total depth. It comes with a dirt plug to keep the socket clear of mud and debris when no bipod is fitted, and is compatible with Spartan Javelin and SpringBok bipods, Ascent and Sentinel tripods, SpringBok Quad Sticks and Davros heads. As with the standard adapter, fitting means boring and epoxy-bonding it into the stock, so it's a job for a gunsmith rather than a rifle-to-rifle swap.
