The Spartan Disc-Lok Adapter for Picatinny fits a standard M1913 Mil-Std Picatinny accessory rail and gives it Spartan's Disc-Lok attachment system — a semi-permanent, push-to-engage alternative to the magnetic MagnaSwitch fittings, aimed at tactical and competition shooters who want a secure, repeatable connection. It uses a 16mm SUS303 stainless steel spigot with an auto-gated locking mechanism: align the spigot with the socket and push to engage, and the self-aligning design gives a stable, repeatable fit every time. It works only with Disc-Lok compatible bipods, tripods and heads rather than the MagnaSwitch range, so it's worth checking which system a given Spartan bipod or tripod uses before ordering. It enables rapid and secure attachment of Disc-Lok compatible bipods and tripods to rifles carrying a Picatinny rail.
