The Spartan Heavy Duty Optics Adapter turns an Ascent or Sentinel tripod, or a Davros head, into a stable platform for spotting scopes, cameras and other optics with a 3/8-16in or 1/4-20in threaded mounting point. The magnetic attachment gives instant fitting, backed up by an adjustable lever system for extra security once it's in place, and a removable carbon control arm allows fine adjustment of the optic's position once mounted. It comes with a 1/4-20in UNC camera/optic screw for direct attachment, a 3/8-16in steel bush for larger optics, and a polymer plate, and is compatible with both the MagnaSwitch and Disc-Lok attachment systems. At 65g it's light enough to carry as standard kit, and works with Davros heads, Sentinel and Ascent tripods.
