The Spartan Classic Gunsmith Adapter is a permanently bonded-in mounting point for Spartan's MagnaSwitch attachment system, giving a completely discreet, low-profile way to fit and remove a Spartan bipod or tripod from a rifle stock. CNC machined from hard-anodised 7075-T7351 aluminium, it weighs just 9g and sits only 17mm deep once bonded into a wooden or synthetic stock, so there's nothing bulky screwed to the outside of the rifle. It's compatible with the Spartan Javelin and SpringBok bipods, the Ascent, Hoplite and Sentinel tripods, SpringBok Quad Sticks and Davros heads, giving one fitting that works across the whole Spartan support system. Fitting the adapter means boring a hole into the stock and bonding it in with epoxy, so it's a job for a professional gunsmith or a confident, competent home fitter rather than a five-minute task. This is the version sold without the magnetic dirt plug that normally caps the socket when no bipod is fitted. Once installed, it lets the Javelin Bipod run in both fixed target and traversable hunting modes.
