The Spy Point FLEX-S-DARK is the solar-powered version of the FLEX-DARK cellular trail camera, built for long, unattended observation without repeat battery runs. A built-in solar panel and internal lithium battery keep it running for up to 11 months, using the power of the sun rather than a stack of AA batteries — useful for cameras sited well off the beaten track. It shares the FLEX-DARK's 40MP camera, four adjustable low-glow/no-glow LEDs and 0.3-second trigger speed, with a 30m (100ft) detection and flash range that captures full-colour images by day and black-and-white at night without spooking what's being watched. Dual-SIM LTE connectivity, preactivated across the UK's major networks, sends photos and video to your phone through the Spy Point app, automatically switching SIM for the strongest signal, with no need for a fixed Wi-Fi connection. A free transmission plan of 100 photos a month is included, with paid plans for heavier use. The same ghost-grey ABS composite body, reinforced latch and flexible brass-fitted antenna carry over from the standard FLEX-DARK, and optional accessories such as the LIT-22 battery pack or spare AA batteries can extend runtime further.
