The Superga 2790 Rope is a boho-chic take on the brand's classic 2790 trainer, swapping the usual flat rubber sole for a woven, rope-wrapped flatform that gives the shoe an espadrille-style look. The upper is a breathable, unlined cotton canvas, finished here in a Violet Purple colourway, with cotton laces running through logo-engraved aluminium eyelets. The platform itself measures 4cm and is wrapped in a woven, rope-style braid, sitting on top of a vulcanised natural rubber outsole for grip and durability. Superga's two-tone jacquard logo tag sits on the side of the shoe, with the branding repeated on the insole and heel counter. The result is a lightweight, versatile trainer that trades the classic Superga's plain platform for a summery, textural twist — equally at home with jeans, a sundress or shorts.
